WHAT WE DO

House of Hope of the Pee Dee is a Christian Ministry serving the homeless by providing a helping hand. Our primary goal is to provide relief to people in crisis, but our ultimate hope is that each resident finds salvation and commits their life to Christ.

 We help with:

  • Identification Documents                                                               
  • Education
  • Money Management: on-site savings program
  • Life Skills: food/nutrition, hygiene, family relationships
  • Counseling  
 
LOOKING BACK AT 2010
 
 
In 2010, House of Hope of the Pee Dee Provided:
  • 17,510 Nights of Safe Lodging to 227 residents (62 women, 37 children, and 128 men)
  • 52,530 Hot, Nutritious Meals to our residents
  • 27,600 Miles of Travel to various locations on behalf of our residents for employment, interviews, medical appointments, legal appointments, etc.
  • Classes - Up to 100% of eligible residents participated in Money Management and Parenting Classes.
  • Counseling - 100% of eligible residents had the opportunity to express their doubts, frustrations, successes, and history to a trained counselor and learn how to handle their feelings.
