THE HOUSE OF HOPE MISSION MART

Visit our thrift store at 931-B S. Irby Street in Florence (in the Big Lots Shopping Center). Shop, visit, or drop off your gently used household items, books, clothes, furniture and more.

Manager:     Lisa James

Telephone:   843.667.9122

Donations:    843.667.4118

Hours:          Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

All proceeds from the Mission Mart go to help cover operating expenses for the House of Hope of the Pee Dee ministry. Your donations of gently used clothing, household goods, furniture, electronics, tools, or business items can be a tremendous help to House of Hope Ministries…in ways that you might not imagine.

Because of your help we can…

  •  Provide Free Clothes and Other Needs to the Neediest. At the House of Hope for Women and Children, your contributions mean free clothing for overwhelmed or needy moms and families in a time of hardship.  At the House of Hope for Men, donations help bring dignity and hope to the men.

  •  Provide Training & Service Opportunity. As your donations arrive at our donation center, our residents learn customer service and retail-related skills while receiving and sorting contributions.

  •  Fund Vital Programs. Sales from the Mission Mart help bring in additional and essential support for key programs (meals, lodging, hot showers, etc) at both of the House of Hope locations.

You can be sure that your donations will help the homeless and needy men, women, and children of the Pee Dee Region.

What Does “Gently Used” Mean?  Please evaluate each prospective donation by asking the following questions:

  • Is it Useable?
  • Is it Clean?
  • Is it Broken?
  • Does it Work?

When donating, please also remember this: We cannot use or sell unusable, broken or stained items. Instead, such items must be taken to the dump where we must pay an amount equal to the cost of sheltering and feeding hundreds.
